Dimmer Switch Question

Probably a stupid question but im not sure..... i have 2 way switching in my lounge. 1 gang switch at one end and a 3 gang switch at the other end (2 of these 3 gangs are for other rooms).

Can i replace just the 1 gang switch with a dimmer and leave the 3 gang as it is?

If you get s dimmer designed for two way switching, yes.
