I have always had gas central heating until I moved here, now I have storage heaters.
My Kitchen storage heater has not worked since I dried my socks on top of it, you live and learn.
There is no reset button on my heater cut out/thermostat. After a lot of reading on different websites I understand that pre 1980's Dimplex heaters have a reset button on the thermostat.
Mine are late 1990 ish and have a small tag of metal, but pushing this every way possible did not give any audible click so I ordered a replacement which I have just fitted.
I will try to upload 2 pictures but do not know how to add arrows.
The reset tag of metal is above my little finger in the left of picture 1.
What is the flathead screw for in the right of picture 1, above my thumb?
Picture 2 shows the same screw above my thumb touching a flexible piece of copper. What is that for?
