Hi,
It seems the City & Guilds 2381 and 2391 courses are the recognised qualifications for electricians?
I bought a home study pack (cost around £30 if I remember right from a company called electacourse . com) I then sat the 2381 exam at Lockwell electroics and had the highest mark in the group. The others all paid around £500 for a weeks intensive course so I was well chuffed !
Thinking of doing the 2391 or the PAT next.

2391 - be aware this does not make you a tester. Although you may pass, it should be regarded as a starting point, to be backed up with lots of experience.
