Hi, would appreciate any advice with this. Last night all the electric went off and was traced to the dishwasher. After changing the fuse it appeared ok and finished the program it was on. Then today when I turned it on it blew all the electrics again, even after changing the fuse it now refuses to work and just keeps taking the electrics out. Many thanks.

depending on make and model and how old it is,it will be the heater or circulation pump causeing it to pop fuse ,you might even have water in the base of dishwasher .check with a meter for readings on pump and heater first

Thanks for your reply it is a Beko 60cm Standard Dishwasher (DWD8650X), just over 2 years old. I am not sure how to check those things myself and would also appreciate advice on whether to call an engineer out to start fixing parts or just pay out for a new one. Cheers.

cost of heater 50 quid circ pump 80 quid plus labour. new one about 190. scrap it if i was you .

slim chance but just had 2 beko dishwashers go with similar fault and it was the RF (Cuts out radio interference) capacitor in the back blown (very cheap ones fitted)

If it looks damaged it can be removed/disconnected to check but only if you know what you are doing

Normally it is the circulation pump sitting in water after a leak though
