And it's only by standing back and looking you can see that. So stand back John and you will see 'Peak' oil amongst a 'range' of indicators. You wont know for sure until about 5 years after the event. Just like you don't know the high tide mark until the waves recede.

Because I don't know and neither does anyone else. Only history will document it - just like the tide - you never know which wave is the one that comes farthest up the beach - only history will record that.
