do we really feel that any boiler is good ?

Been to a Glowworm betacom today less than 2 years old and glowworm will not cover it.
They said it was sludged up and that it had not been installed correctly ..

To be honest it all look ok to me . I flushed it and fitted a boiler buddy .
Plumber that fitted it would not come back to it ..

If you had to flush it and install a filter, it looks like GW were right.

I flushed it because thats what the customer wanted but to be honest it didnt look to bad to me.

betacom only has a 1yr warranty , so its probably expired. you should always be wary what customers tell you ! they can be dishonest too !

The customer had it on contract with them ..They are going back he said once powerflush had been done to sort boiler.
But i do agree about being wary what customers say.

I wonder what work they have already carried out previously. GW will usually replace the first part thats failed because of contamination foc but insist on a flush before continuing with further repairs. In my time at GW i dont think once, i saw a betacom that had been properly installed, its the cowboys choice !
