Does Geberit DuoFix UP320 have a throttle system to prevent splashing?

The system purchased was Geberit DuoFix article no. 111300005 (May 2016), which if I am not mistaken includes the Sigma UP320 cistern.

Currently both large and small flushes are splashing the ceramics and toilet seat of a rimless toilet.

Does anyone know whether the flush valve in the UP320 features a throttle that could reduce the flow rate? It would be great to know beforehand because from the videos I have seen the disassembly is bit complex and I am not the greatest at DIY... I mean I can probably get it done, but it will take me a long time so it would be nice if I wasn't wasting my time

I see that Geberit is offering the Type 212 Flush Valve with throttle control, although it's not clear whether it would be compatible. The website states...

The flush valve is backwards compatible with all Geberit concealed cisterns in the Sigma series (UP300) up to year of manufacture 2001, the Omega series up to 2014 and the Delta series up to 2006.

...which seems to suggest it is only compatible with the older Sigma systems?

I have not been able to get anywhere far looking online, so any help or pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Thank you

The Type 212 has a throttle that you can adjust (see pic) the best way to see if the 212 is compatible with any Geberit cistern is to download the Geberit Pro App https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.geberit.proapp or https://apps.apple.com/app/geberit-proapp/id603453126

Inside each cistern (usually to the left of the flush valve or on the flush plate cover behind the actual flush plate) there is either a code or a QR code that you can scan that will take you straight to the spare parts compatible and available for that cistern.

I have checked and double checked and from what I can see this: https://catalog.geberit.co.uk/en-GB...and-UP300-concealed-cisterns/PRO_1777474.html

Complete with basket for the Valve is compatible with the code you have used and features the throttle in the picture. hope this helps
