Does This Copper Pipework Look OK? Concerned About Messy Joints

Hi all,

I've had some new copper pipework installed running from my gas meter, and I wanted to get a second opinion from the community.

I've attached a photo—some of the joints look a bit messy to me, and I’m wondering if this is just cosmetic or a sign of poor workmanship. The installation is fairly recent, and I just want to make sure everything’s safe and up to standard before the rest of the work continues.

Any thoughts or feedback would be much appreciated.

Why so many joints in such a small section, can you photograph from further back so we can see whats going on?

There was a small leak so it had to be repaired. It looks very untidy to me but I am not an expert. Is it "normal" to have the solder dripping like this? Am I being picky and this is cosmetic only?

Presumably it's been done by a gas safe registered plumber, so it should be safe.
A bit messy but safe.

It’s messy but not uncommon unfortunately.

Since leaded solder was replaced with unleaded, this is a common site because the new solder runs like p*ss

no need to use expensive unleaded on gas
