LIstening to T in the Middle East, he's certainly getting them sucking up to him and "pledging" pretty big purchases from the US.
His speeches are egotistical rambles though. They're busy massaging that ego.

They are stitching up Trump big time.

Trump was in touch with OPEC leaders during Bidens term, because he wanted them to cut oil production to put up prices in USA, which did happen.

Now he has done a deal with OPEC+ to ramp up production, which will lower prices at the pumps for a few weeks…..but it will also cause USA oil production to shut down as oil prices fall below cost of extraction. Once OPEC+ have regained market share, prices will ramp up again.


Trumps election slogan was Drill Baby Drill, but American oil is contracting and the region with the fastest growth of new wells is Russia.
