Double nailed roof tiles

hi all hows things just looking for a bit of advice replacing around 20 broken duoplain tiles which are located all over the roof - very large roof.

Usually would be a simple enough job however all tiles have been double nailed just wondering the best way to tackle the job. Thanks

Double nailed bummer!

Tiles are generally single nailed for the sole purpose of removal if broken.

Get yourself a slaters rip.

Thanks noseall thought that would be the case not sure why they've been double nailed every row not even an exposed area or anything

I use a flat crowbar from Stanley, which levers tiles up nicely, or holds adjacent tiles up while you jig a broken tile about for removal/replacement
