If you do work live, which we all know you mustn't then make sure the isolator is switched off (on the DB to be disconnected), and also remove the live from the henly block before the neutral. This will avoid and 'sparks' which may make you jump an slip onto something nasty (caused by a loaded cable being disconnected), and also it will prevent the neutral cable from becoming 'live' due to 'neutral feedback'

"neutral feedback" (the neutral floating up to live which its connected to via the loads) shouldn't happen if the isolator in the CU is off, probablly still not a bad idea in case there is something wrong with the isolator.

hi a quick note,all electricians should not work live at all times,but however what should we do when we have to test an installation after we have done the sequence of tests on the shop R1+R2 etc how do we test the earth loop resestance?
Answer by method statements by live working and qualified personel,and getting a competent person to carry out the works.

This guy sounds like one of the numptys from Screwfix. There are a few who just spout nonsense (in caps). Hope it's a one-off. The good thing about this site is the free exchange of info/opinions between sparks and diyers. That used to be the case on Screwfix but it's gone downhill lately.
