I'm currently building a small enclosed porch with block cavity walls. The windows and doorway openings have galvanised steel lintels in place and I'm now building up another couple of courses before the roof.
Does the DPC over each lintel sit directly on the steel of the external part of the lintel with blockwork cemented on top, or does the dpc need to be bedded to lintel before blockwork?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
