Hi guys, I've got a slight draft coming down side of the flue. Would a collar be the route to take to solve?

Many thanks,

Devs.

A collar alone wouldn't stop the draught. Fill the gap with cement. And then a collar so it looks tidy.

Also check that where the flue exits the wall (on the exterior side) is fully sealed (i.e. not just a collar). The outside should have been fully sealed (cement + collar) by the installer otherwise you are at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Perfect thanks for the help. I hadn't considered servicing.

Many thanks,

Devs ;)

Just look into this now guys and the gap is greater than the rope size. Is there an alternative? Would some loft insulation do the trick?
