can someone tell me what the main difference is in using a knuckle bend versus a swept bend for a corner with 2 inch drainage pipe?

Are there places where one or the other should specifically be used..

I have knuckle bends instead of swept bends and i dont want to go out and buy more swept bends - can i just use the ones ive got.

Its just for sub floor drainage from a washing machine?

Thanks

knuckle bends  ....used by 5 knuckle shufflers

Swept bends aid the flow and are less likely to build up with waste deposits.
Knuckle bends I guess are 90 degrees and so reduce flow.
All depends on how long the run is.

I wouldn't be inclined to use knuckle bends if there's no access to clean the thing out, as is likely to be the case under the floor.
A knuckle bend is more prone to blockages than a swept bend.
There's a better chance of poking a 'snake' or similar round a swept bend if things do get blocked.
