Draining heating system from magnet filter

Morning all,

Is it possible to drain the entire system from the magnetic filter pot (the magnet that sits next to the boiler) our boiler is downstairs in the cellar and so the magnetic filter is the lowest point in the system.

OK, so what would be the best method to drain from here?

Do you have a picture of the filter? On some filters you can fit a hose connector.
