Hi
I recently had a new kitchen and plan to have the extractor fan vented outside. I have a flyover and want to keep the pipework invisable behind the stainless steel cover. I have bought a 90degree angled flat ducting kit that has a brick sized vent cover.
Im wondering what is the best way to try and ensure I can chisel out a full brick so the cover fits in nicely. My plan was to first drill a hole from the inside out where the middle of the square pipe would go through as a reference point. Im just thinking if this centre point doesnt sit in the middle of a brick (which is 99% likely) what is the best way of doing this?
Is there any flexible piping i can attach from the extractor to the vent cover so there can be a slight bend if needed?
Thanks
