drilling window lintel......

recently i was installing a bathroom fan coring a 4" hole through the wall and realized (when it wouldn't drill anymore) i was hitting the window lintel. what should i do?

Struggle on trying to drill through by stich drilling and hammering with chisel?

Consult a builder ?

i wouldn't advise boring a 100mm hole through a lintel!

you should really find somewhere else to vent the extractor.

I too agree, can you not move a couple of inches to the left/right or up a bit. then just fill the hole youve now created.
