Driveway - type 1 MOT base

Hi, I have just laid a base of type 1 mot, in preparation for a gravel driveway, 55 tons at 6 inch depth. I have a number of area where there are just the stones from the mix and no grit to bind them. Can anyone suggest please what I can use to bind the stones and then re-wacker plate them down, or do I re-dig them out and shovel in fresh type 1? Thanks
