I do, but I also know that (as is clearly his right) the OP wants these lights in his drive, for reasons that could be described as a 'use', a 'function' or anything else you like. If he had no reason for wanting them, he presumably would not want them.

If you know full well what I mean, then you know full well that I asked that question lest he wanted the lights to do something useful/functional/practical, not simply to be a decorative feature.

I never said it wasn't his right - I just asked him why he wanted them in case he wanted them to do something which they would not.

But then you know that full well, and yet here you are, still thinking that it is a help to him, and a positive thing for the topic as a whole, to continue nit-picking about my use of "useful" and "functional".
