Dulux Luxurious Silk for Walls & Ceilings

Just using this in the hallway. It advises the normal 2 coats but I says to remove any sheen before applying which raises the question...

Do I need to rub down the 1st coat before applying the 2nd coat?

I rubbed the wall down and gave it a wash before applying the 1st coat just wondering if I need to do it all again before applying the 2nd coat?

No you won't have to repeat the prep, just apply your second coat.
