earth wiring for metal light fitting

Help with earthing cables: I have metal light fitting to replace ceiling rose/pendant. Light fitting has live and neutral but no earth wire. It has an earth terminal on the metal body of the fitting. I know how to wire everything except the earth cables. 3 sets of cables from ceiling (switch live identified) - how do I wire the 3 earth cables? All together on light fitting or something different?

All 3 earth wires from your fixed wiring will connect together to the earth terminal on the new fitting

If the earth wires are too short. Put them together in a single piece of terminal block and then connect a short piece of green/yellow flex wire from the light's earth terminal to the terminal block.
