Hi everybody,

I am in the middle of renovating my kitchen. I had a gas oven which I took out and changed to an electric oven.

The gas pipe which is behind the oven has been sealed off (there is a valve and it has been capped off after the valve) by a competent plumber, but it sticks out from the wall.

This pipe is in contact with the back of the new electric oven. Is this okay?

Cheers,
James

Thanks for the quick reply.
I am worried in case the gas pipe heats up when the oven is on......I suppose it will heat up even if it was a gas oven.....?
Cheers,
James

If the oven heated up that much at the back i'd star worrying even if no gas pipe.

Thanks guys, :)
I had started worrying if now I need to take the cabinets out to change the gas pipe.
Cheers,
James
