electric showers combi boiler

H

hav it

Went to a job today shower wont turn off, They had a combi fitted (FROM SYSTEM) last week so i gather it dont like the extra pressure. I traced the pipes back and the shower was installed previous direct to mains.
Question
why would this go now if its alway been on the main.
Will the solenoid need changing in the shower.

need to know what model/make shower is not all have solenoid valves.

combi won't be nothing to do with the fault on the shower.

One of the basic ones.

Do a resistance test on the solenoid coil should be 3.4 kohms or above
also check for 230v at the solenoid coil when the on/off button is off if you have 230v and the button is off the buttons faulty
if the coil proves ok the complete solenoid valve is needed the diaphragms
more likely split.
if coils gone open circuit change just the coil.

Possibly diaphram split with the extra pressure from the combi, do you any part numbers m8t and best place to order from.thanks

why do you think the combi has any part in it that won't alter the inlet pressure from the mains cold.
