Electrical Work in schools

I work in quite a few schools installing data and mains systems, most seem to organise their own minor works and is down to individual HODs to sort out contractors etc, only one asked me for proof of qualifications and accepted a JIB card

They are more concerned with CRB checks, I too have reported some well dogy installs by NICEIC contractors in a local school

if it's dedicated then anything you want in the school is not notifiable under Part P as it's not getting it's feed from or supplying / sharing a feed with a dwelling..

And if it is, suddenly it all changes. What a joke!
