Crime is much more to do with poverty than ethnicity.Most people are decent law abiding soles,rich or poor,of any colour,,some are bad,some are good.Some rich are bad,,etc etc..Extreme poverty and extreme greed leads to desperation and crime sometimes..Regardless of ethnicity.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Crime is to do with the decline of Christianity and its influence in Britain, and the concomitant weakening of law and order. One hundred years ago, even fifty years ago people were far poorer than they are today yet crime was far lower. Explain that.

I don't think much of a response to your comments is needed. I suspect that the readers can detect your subjectivity for themselves.
For instance, you think that your subjective perception of situations outweighs and overrides official statistics, and you insist that the official statistics are not relevant to the discussion.
You believe that religion (but only your religion) is the best and only solution to crime, and that other religions are "a monstrous fire-breathing hybrid creature".
I think I have said enough. I suspect that your ideas are gleaned, even copied and pasted, from some evangelical source.

To end inequality we need to re-balance the system. But while we are ruled by Tories that will never happen. So, we have to learn to live with it.
Live with less money, longer hours, later retirement, poorer health service, fewer police, poorer education, and now, expensive and deadly care homes!
We choose inequality every general election. You know what to do if you want to end it!
Good point - crime is related to poverty. A lack of opportunity and the feeling of being left out of society does leads to higher crime.
My guess is that immigrants move into poor areas -because they are cheaper -I'm not sure they move into affluent areas then make them poor and run down.

This is exactly what drives crime. Same in every country in the world. Wealthy people rarely become street criminals, some rich kids that get addicted to drugs and drawn in might, but most street crime (as opposed to fraud, speeding etc.) is commuted by poor people.
I've said it before, but our welfare state helps keep crime down. All those that want to pay less welfare out don't seem to realise that as soon as the safety net goes and there is no more money, people will have no choice but to start taking it from those that do.
Remember, we have 4 classes in this country;
Upper class - they get given everything
Middle class - they own everything
Working class - they work for the middle class
Criminal class - they have nothing, so take everything

Two families have alcoholic fathers...On average,one set of offspring will learn from that mistake,One set will become victims and repeat the process..Obviously a huge generalisation and simplification..Some poor,1 parent families will prosper,be encouraged to attend school,encouraged to read,encouraged to socialise,have hobbies...They,in general will grow up,have a good work ethic,balanced view of the world.,good mental health.and confidence..Others,who have no bedtime,no limits,no rules,no books,no sensible christmas presents(books,chemistry sets,telescopes,microscopes,musical instuments,dance,acting lessons etc,) never sit together to eat,etc etc...Are,in general,at the very least going to struggle as adults...And so the cycle repeats.Parenting,Education,hope,prospects,money are all ingredients in making a successful human being but ranking them in importance is difficult and maybe the absense of one has a domino or cascade effect on trashing the others.

Obviously reality is more complicated than that, but you rarely hear about people mugging or dealing on their way home from work.
Obviously not all poor people are criminals, nobody suggested that.
