Energy supplier question

Big all I'm not being very helpful to you today
Our last home 1/4 mile away was much bigger and all the bills are in storage as we left that home early October
We have been living in a holiday let ever since ,pay week by week w/o committing to6 months rental
We can leave at a week or fortnights notice

Why did you move to live like a gippo ?.

Hi big all the supplier is eon and I don't know the average bill
The house was empty or in probate so don't know the monthly bill
Typical supplier onthe midlands are npower, eon and every Tom dick or Asda around
We do pay by direct debit and manage our bills online
Appreciate your time to look at this, even if it looks like I am not co operating very much. At the moment I am trying to do 5 things at once

Dont forget to water the horses before you go to bed. Not too much water though- think about the water meter bill.

I find it really frustrating that in this day & age we still have such a confusing array of tariffs from energy suppliers. Why can't gas & electricity be like petrol, wood or coal. That is you pay a price for what you use & then the consumer can really tell who is the cheapest. All this business of so many units at one price & the rest at a different price is a nightmare.

Totally agree, its about time we stopped paying this hidden charge, this indirect charge through two tier prices, basically they are extracting from you around 10quid a month per utility, as a standing charge, or a charge for their administration costs, but in fact it is their profit!

Now ask yourself, do garages selling petrol charge motorist standing or administration charge? do they charge motorist two tier prices for petrol? Is there any hidden cost in garages prices....the answer is No!

Doesn't petrol need infra structure, it needs distribution via tankers, and distributions via pipelines, refineries, garage premises, and so on, but we pay just one price and we know where we stand!

So why is gas and electricity any different, so yes we should get one simple price per unit, no other bull crap!

Yes, lets compare something you collect to something you deliver.

Try getting £5 of petrol delivered to your house without an extra charge, also ask them to deliver it on Sunday and see if that makes no difference to the price.

Oh what's that, how much you buy and when you buy it affects price, well blow me!

Well yes actually they do.

Yes, one higher price for all!

Ignore the fact its cheaper to produce at different times, let's just charge one flat rate.

I'm sure that will mean a fairer deal, yes sirree, no way could that end up with everyone charged more, nope!
