It's amazing how few know how much Russia had to do with the defeat.
The UK are inclined to think it was the USA.
One goes for the choir boys and orphans but operates alone, the other goes for the young white girls in care and operate in large gangs.
Sounds like a typical politician to me so what's new?

Correction: several hundreds go for the choir boys, the young unmarried mums including selling off their babies, and orphans, the victims numbering in the thousands, all of which is covered up by the world-wide organisation, and the other goes for the available young girls and operate in gangs.

Victory in WW2 was a combined effort, neither the British/ Americans/ Russia would have managed it on there own.

I think you can describe the Catholic church as 'large' and the way they systematically protected and allowed their abusive priests to continue in different parishes is if anything more chilling.

Depends on which historians conjecture one prefers. Some say after the failure of the Luftwaffe to secure air supremacy over Britain and the subsequent cancelling of operation Sea Lion, Hitler's decision to wage war against the Russians on the eastern front sealed Nazi Germanies defeat however the United States participation expedited that defeat by 2 years. It is conjecture though.
What is pretty certain though is yanks who spout "if it wasn't for us you (britain) would be speaking German" are talking rubbish. If anything it would have been Russian.
Though I suppose it's more complicated when one simply says American involvement, as without American financial, manufacturing and supply assistance it could well have been different.

I think you'll find without little old blighty Russia would have been speaking German.
The UK done more for ww2 than any other country.
However without a team effort from the Russians and the USA we wouldn't have won.
The USA however do try and take all the glory.
The Brits just like to remind Germany constantly,

They also had luck that the Germans spread themselves thin and wasn't prepared for the climate.
