Eurocal 70/90 Ecoflam burner

Called to a friend's house this morning boiler not working. Filter on tank gauge blocked cleaned and cleaned in line oil filter. Tried to fire boiler, lockout. Checked oil pressure fluctuating slightly but around 150psi. Removed burner spark OK. no oil, replaced nozzle still no oil. I am a gas engineer with limited knowledge of oil. Not familiar with this burner is it the oil solenoid Merry Xmas All

Did you clean filter on the oil pump?

Also check that theres 240v at coil, if its not lifting you wont get any oil to the nozzle

Hope you've set the pressure correctly, otherwise beware of burnt out baffles and lots of soot.

He might be lucky as he states he had 150psi on the old pump! the new ones come out set to around 150 so fingers crossed - does sound like a £20 coil would have fixed it though!
