You mean you paid someone to do that?........Get a Sparky do it properly

I should think the people who fitted the cupboard just removed the FCU, hacked a hole in their conti board, and 'fitted' the FCU back 'temporarily' ready for someone else to sort out.

I don't know what the agreement was, but the cupboard installers should have an electrician they can get to sort out these kind of problems.
