Extending driveway

A project that extended my block paved drive to gain extra parking.

Done in April but thought to upload as I've just finished my raised planter.

Note: I'm not a ground worker or a bricklayer, but feel confident enough to have had a go.

Got rid of 15 tonnes of shingle which i laid as a temp measure last year.

Excavating down for 200-250mm of hardcore so i have no issues with works van and 2.5 tonne car...

Now all you need is 2 basket ball nets and you have a full size court Is it just 2 cars and a van? i would probably have wanted a double garage.

Looks great anyway.

There's a double garage just out of shot to the left. It was really to added extra parking and turning.
