I'm looking at putting an extension on the side of my house and am trying to get a rough idea of what it will cost before I get an architect to start the drawings. I appreciate that no-body on here can give me a very accurate estimate but a roundabout figure would be very helpful to see whether the project is feasable.
The house is semi detached.
The extension will be 2 storey on the side of the house about 5m * 4m in size.
The ground floor will be a dining room and upstairs will be a bedroom.
There are no drain or other obstruction that would need to be moved.
The house is in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
As I said, i'm just looking for a rough estimate of what a builder may charge for this assuming that planning was passed OK.
Any help would be appreciated.
