extension question?

Hello folks (again) lol

I'm looking to add a two storey extension to the side of my house and someone asked me the other day if I was going for a traditional 'block and brick' job or have I considered a timber frame or even a flat pack type of extension?

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Little advantage over trad masonry cavity or traditional timber frame IMO.

SIP panels (or flat pack as you mention) should theoretically be cheaper overall if time is of the essence and you are not a DIYer. There are a few threads where their pros/cons have been discussed: //search.diynot.com/forum_sear...reddymercurystwin&search=Search+Forum&stype=0
