The original used a quartz halogen lamp around 300 watt to light the way. Moving to LED also resulted in one lamp being fitted to the shed.

This would light my way new shed to old shed, the latter now gone, but then corner lights on the house

sorry second daylight shot, would light my way either side of the house. Then lights either side of house light our way further, and finally lights at the door allow use to see the key in the lock.
Google home app will allow all 6 lamps to switch on with a single command from phone, and once inside again all can be switched off with a single command.
Only 4 of the 8 outside lights around the house ever had PIR control, only 6 of the 8 are on smart control as it stands, but I only walk up to right of house, I never take the left route.
We would need around 4 PIRs to cover the whole route, and the shed light actually helps on the steps, so to use PIR control it would need to be linked to the smart system, so all lights work together.
And for security, better we don't light up the 4-foot drops, intruders should not be in our back garden, so why should I light the dangers to them?
