Extractor fan - No Earth connection

Hi,

I've got an extractor fan which quotes it is double insulated and does not require an earth connection (without any further instructions on that). The Mains I want to connect it to is a Twin and Earth cable, but there is nowhere in the appliance I can connect the Earth to. If I were to put a longer green and yellow sleeve around the middle Earth cable and twist it round a few times to insulate it and make sure the sleeve does not come out, would that be a good idea? If not, any ideas on how to proceed?

That's acceptable or better still use a small terminal block if it will fit in.
