Hi, I have a bathroom that doesn't have an outside wall, currently there is a loovent fitted to the ceiling with a large (100mm ish)pipe venting to the outside through the loft, the pipe is about 10 metres in length. As the fan is extremely old i'm looking for a replacement, but am unsure what is the best option due to the long distance it must travel, I did wonder about putting another fan at the end where it vents to the outside as well as a replacement in the bathroom ceiling, what do you think?

It's the loovent aidelle that I have now, not impressed with it, which is why I want to change it.

Now you're changing the goal posts. Why are you not impressed with it, noise, colour, performance?

The fan you have will have an extraction rating usually in cubic metres/hour or cublic feet/hour. To improve performance you need a larger one. The manufacturers of Loovent also make a Powervent unit which is about twice the capacity and still uses a centrifugal fan.

Check out the websites for Xpelair, Vent Axia, & Manrose for others.

Also important is that you have sufficient air entering the room to allow the extracted air to be replaced. If the room is too tightly sealed, then no fan will work properly. Where the air enters should be diagonally opposite the fan so that the air flows across the whole room. There is a diagram in the link below under "Siting the Fan Correctly". The inlet could be a window with a trickle vent (not in your case though), or internal door with a gap at the bottom.
