Northerners getting what they wanted...

"The closure of a UK-based Nestle factory has been confirmed to staff, with familiar brands such as Fruit Pastilles, Jelly Tots and Toffee Crisp bars all slated to relocate production to Eastern European nations."

I’ve always thought it sad Nestle bought Rowntree Mackintosh back in 1988.

incredible to think Rowntrees fruit pastilles started in 1881

My mate died in a horrific accident in a Nestle factory a big pile of boxes collapsed on top of him and everytime he shouted out the Milky bars are on me. Everyone just cheered

Relocated to Eastern Europe

well that’s the quality of the product down the collective toilet than

The answer is to stop buying Nestle products.

Anyone got a list of their products?

Are you going to boycott anything that companies produce and have moved production abroad, or even any products that come from overseas?

Have you not noticed the lack of made in britain/produced in britain labels in the shops?

But hey, I guess you'll be scrambling to go and pick the crops that people who are boycotting 'foreign stuff' will need to survive on

I boycott anything with the halal certification symbol also, so no Waburtons or Kingsmilll bread etc.

Good, same here. People have fought for higher welfare standards for a long time, now we're expected to regress with their lower standards.

I expect my white sliced loaf to have been humanely slaughtered. ;)

That was the whole idea of leaving the EU, so that UK could lower standards.

Many people still do not know that the term halal does not only refer to meat.
