I admit I did enjoy watching the BBC series of Merlin after the second attempt at watching.
The same with Les Miserable'. Couldn't understand it the first time round so put the subtitles up the next time and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the 'musical' version by the way, not the simple spoken one. I thought that was quite tedious.

We managed about 10 mins of the critically acclaimed codswallop that was Normal People. unwatchable.
