Finally, a grown-up government.

Its not right vs left its the playbook that a number of you in this forum adopt.

gammon,
racist,
you live in DM/Torgraph eco chamber
hornsmokers
grifter
blah blah believes

it shows lack of intellect and ability to present one's argument.

it might be why we've had so few left wing governments - ever.

The I'm right and you're a loser approach never works
oh dear Motorgrifting is still smarting from his lies about Swedish immigration

tut tut :ROFLMAO:

I'll reiterate, the EU (the institution itself) is prepared to make its members suffer by deliberately harming them and us by making trade between us and its members more difficult than it needs to be.

This isn't because it enjoys self-harm, but because it may suffer greater harm if we were to succeed in trading openly with its members, as it would encourage others to join us to seek the same sort of deal.

They've said this, on the record. So there's no point in trying to negotiate with them.
the facts show it was the exact opposite

Here is David Frost admitting the Johnson govt negotiated in bad faith

poor Iva, always more wrong than a wrong thing

Just more moaning. Honestly it sounds like a load of old women at a bus stop going on about the good old days.

Does anyone have any constructive suggestions that don't rely on time going backwards?

What a lot of twisted waffle.

We could have stayed in the club. We chose to leave. For the better apparently, so why would we want those benefits

Is that what the leavers thought would happen because " they need us more than we need them "
They saw a big red bus, some very big numbers and did a lot of grunting, scratched an X in a box then carried on grunting. There was no 'post Brexit' in their sheltered world. Even slimy toad Ree Smugg suggested it would be 50 years before the UK would be rid of the Brexit scourge.
