This seems to have crossed a line, and is now beyond being silly. Reported.
You don't see it do you. I said it because it's 2 virtue signaling phobics he missed out and so must be them, his ridiculous virtue signaling of everything he can think of, so any he misses out then he must support.
And why do you do you feel the need to report on his behalf, is it because I upset you the other day and you want a bit of revenge
That one needs to go on morqthannas virtue signaling list.

Basically what's going on here is a bunch of people saying "He's not very British or a patriot or proud of his country because he's not racist or xenophobic. He doesn't want to lock up asylum seekers or deport all the Muslims - what kind of true Englishman is that?"

All I've done here is to criticise those who express or support the view that asylum seekers are invaders and should be locked up, who say that we're going to have Sharia Law and compulsory burkas imposed if we don't "do something" about Muslims, who say that the ideas of homosexual/mixed-race/transgender relationships are being "rammed down our throats". All I've done here is to say that bigotry and prejudice are wrong. All I've done here is to say I wouldn't want to see Britain turned into a country run on the basis of bigotry and prejudice.

And that's prompted some to say that "therefore" I hate Britain.

Dear God - what a terrible picture that paints of what those people think it means to be British.
Most of that is in your head. And you only added antisemitic to your list when I reminded you that you left it out. Or it that part of the virtual signal that you leave that one out, given your flag an all.

How have al Qassam adopted the flag of Palestine? They haven't - it's just their national flag. And who have they "killed or maimed through indiscriminate bombing campaigns"? Complete nonsense. There is only one terrorist group there and that is the Zionist occupation forces and their so-called government.
Proscribed terrorist organisations are listed on the UK government website. Alongside the name of each of these evil entities you'll find multiple reasons for their inclusion on said list.

One of my difficulties in the way this thread has developed is; I am a tolerant person (I'm sure some with have different opinions) but not being an extremist I've had no reason to think about or create a list of my phobias. As such no chance of constantly ramming it down others throats. I do have to wonder why people feel a need to create such a list.

One of the main interrogation techniques goes very much along Shakespeares line of "The lady doth protest too much, methinks"

Its just smacks of virtue signalling and when you start doing that then you have to make sure you dont miss any out otherwise people may think you agree with the ones you have missed out. I dont agree with all the ones he rememberd to mention but dont feel the need to list them to everyone I meet.

And if he truly despises all of those things then how can he walk down a normal street without having a mental break down, just a trip to the Co-Op could even kill him as he might see a skinhead in there buying a pint of milk and have himself a massive heart attack.

The problem you have with promoting the flag of England along with a Nationalist impulse is to ignore the Union of Scotland, Wales and Norn Iron. If you persist in this attitude then the question of national sovereignty becomes a political issue for all the countries in the Union, raising the prospect of dissolution. Fly the flag if you must but try not to break up the United Kingdom while you promote the policies of a far right political group.

So why aren't the Zionist forces on this list, if indeed this list is to be considered virtuous and truthful?

Most of my flag flying is support for something currently happening, usually sport or some other celebration, so currently supporting England womens rugby, football world cup for example

. When England are knocked out I'll either change to the home team remaining or Union Flag or both

.

Of course 3 years ago a single union flag flown at half mast etc.

Other times seasonal offerings

You don't see it do you.
What I see is what I regard as unacceptable comments about an individual poster. That would usually be described as a 'personal attack' - and in any forum where I have administrative/'moderation powers' that would result in a strong warning, followed by expulsion if repeated.
And why do you do you feel the need to report on his behalf, is it because I upset you the other day and you want a bit of revenge
My comment (and 'reporting') had nothing to do with the discussion or content of this thread (and it takes a lot more than you to 'upset' me!) other than the words you used in the post I quoted.

I don't give a flying f what you think, with your small man syndrome, is that it now then you are going to follow me and report my post every time YOU do not like something, despite the poster I am replying to not caring, you are THAT neighbour aren't you, the one that complains to the council if i cut my grass past 7pm.

You seem to understand, or appreciate, that the flag you are using as your avatar, is not only a none British flag, but mostly now associated with that of a proscribed terrorist organisation, in the country you live in.

At the very same time, you have wrongly identified me as an extreme right wing fascist, simply for announcing that I am patriotic enough to fly my countries flag, on a pole, at my home. There is nothing extreme, about being proud of, and supporting your own country.
Unfortunately the flag has been hijacked.

It is sad, because I currently will NOT fly a flag, for any reason, simply because of the connotations that go with it.

Sad times indeed.

Reposting this, because it needs to be read, by as many as possible.

So accurate, not from somebody who declares himself as left or right wing and making a ppolitical point , but just of a good standard, a typical Brit.

I will only report any of your posts if they contain comments about individuals using what I personally regard as unacceptable language.

You obviously have different views from some others, which is fine, but the problem seems to be that you are intolerant of those whose views or comments you don't like.
.... you are THAT neighbour aren't you, the one that complains to the council if i cut my grass past 7pm.
Most definitely not. Unlike you, I am an extremely tolerant person, and almost never complain to anyone about anyone. I often express views about things which differ from other people's views, but I don't complain about their having different views from me.

Thanks. I'm glad you agree.
The problem is that those who most need to probably would not take any notice of what I write, even if they read it!

Indeed - but, as I wrote earlier, one solution would be for large numbers of people to fly the flag, thereby diluting the 'abusers' to such an extent that there would be no adverse 'connotations' (and nor much point in continuing 'abuse of the flag' by a tiny minority).

Whilst I can understand what you say of yourself, as I've said I really don't think that we should allow the behaviour of a tiny minority to dictate what can comfortably be done by the majority (or reduce the 'freedom of choice' of that majority).
