Hi all, I have been wanting to sort this out as its beginning to drive me up the wall, I have a floodlight at the side of the house, the issue is it keeps triggering, its even worse during the wind almost constantly, I have tried setting the sensitivity and range all the way to minimum but it doesn't make a difference, it behaves exactly the same it just keeps going off when there is nothing there and wasting energy, the floodlight at the back of the house behaves as normal and works as it should.

The light that is giving me grief is just your traditional 150w halogen type with pir, nothing too fancy, could it be faulty? or is it just a cheap piece of crap?
thanks

:D straight to the point I like it,I will get it replaced, is there a pir light out there you know is reliable and not prone to false triggering?
thanks

I used to buy Clipsal infrascans at sub £20 ( 5 year warranty) but you can't get hold of them under £70 these days , apart from the Clipsal I only fit GJD Lighting systems , but most people don't want to pay the money ! Got a few out there at least 20 years old working fine ...
