Hi, im having an extension built, they have insulated the floor and the poored concrete over about 100mm thick, they were supposed to leave 50mm screed but have left over 100mm to make up, I have contacted a floor screeder who was to do the job today but he called saying the concrete had been delayed and that i now have to sign a disclaimer and the concrete he is laying will crack because it is going straight onto concrete with a membrane

The question is what is the best solution to level the floor without digging out the freshly laid concrete?

Thanks for any advice|help

Jason

I'm going to take a guess.
Don't worry about the cracking.
Sbr to seal and get on with it.

I've seen floors made up.
I remember one used a cement and water as a primer brushed on. Modern way is SBR.

Alternative is too much hassle.
