fluke t5 600

hi im a plumber/gas engineer and need a new fluke meter, they don't do the same as my old one so the bloke in the shop suggested the t5 600 but im unsure any advise would be great many thanks, would be testing thermistors and flame recifilecation from time to time,

Thermistors are just resistors which change resistance so as long as the meter can measure resistance over the correct range it shouldn't be an issue.
What is flame recifilecation and how is this measured? Is it similar to measuring a thermocouple?
 
flame rectification is the auto spark on new boilers and some older ones it works by sending a dc current with travels through a flame sending the signal back to the pcb broad, but new ones use ac current,
