Flying ants issue

Hi there I have a major issue in the summer. I get a large sum of ants/flying ants in my kitchen. I have to always put powder/ant spray etc. and it is so annoying and frustrating.

I have vinyl which doesn't help. I needed tiles in the kitchen, think this would have helped.

Can anyone give me any tips or anything I can do as they also making holes?!?!

it only happens one or twice a year over perhaps 6 days max could you not take extra precautions for the "flying days"
