I'm looking for a folding ruler something like this one:

I feel this ought to be easy, but I can't find one in any of the usual places. I feel as if I must be searching for the wrong term, or something. eBay searches mostly find expensive vintage items; Screwfix / Toolstation only have fancy ones with digital angle displays.

The image is a screenshot from a video where the guy is bending pipes, and uses this folding ruler to transfer the angles. It seems to hold its angle reasonably well without needing a knob to tighten it.

Yes, “vintage” items for £19, marked in inches….

Buy two, cheap metal rules, ones with a hole in the end, to hang them. Insert a bolt, two nuts, locked against each other, with a spring under the nuts. Spring, under pressure, helps retain the angle set.
