Private is still the same Dr's but in a slightly better setting.

Diagnostic tests are quite quick within the NHS and most like MRI are rather supplementary to a good physical exam / consultation.

The problem some depts are facing now is that many women Dr's are choosing to work part time. This leads to an issue of cross cover.

Indeed,a good gp can give you a thorough exam and spot a 1cm lesion on your lung in 10minutes...MRI merely to confirm,but not really needed!
