Freelander knocking from back

Hi can anyone advise me? My 1999 Freelander has started knocking. Ive had the exhaust checked no joy. could it be the diff?

Could you be slightly more vague about the knocking?

Could be rear trailing arm bushes, was advised at the last service my '98 ones would need replacing in 6months, they are getting quite a few go due to speed humps, will cost about £800 at a main dealer.

I also had the rear diff mounting bush(s) replaced last year.

A relative had a slight knocking when going around corners or over a bump.

First it was thought to be a knock from suspension.

It turned out to be a known problem with the Freelander, and it was cracks to part of the chasis at the rear. It needed welding, and IIRC, landrover sell a kit with two plates for welding on
