He probably thinks that all the hot air in his house is because of the felt on his roof. I beg to differ.

I have a small point on my pencil and a warm loft because it's felted, really quite toastie.

Moving my armchair and tv up there if it gets much colder in my lounge.

If the debate is still going, not sure about the insulating layer but it keeps a fair amount of dust out of the loft space - at least it is in mine... No more dust coming FROM outside or from the practically clay powder tiles i had on my roof!

I think a loft is warmer with felt, other people don't. That's all good lets agree to differ
