Getting Fuses out of spurs/fcu's, I used to always use a screwdriver but twice recently chipped them.
Recently see a tool designed for plumbers, that looked plastic and it levered them out.
Anyone seen them for sale or any better ways of getting them out

CEF have them, and the fact they are only supplied in packs of 4 suggests breakage and failure is a frequent event.

I have them (won them in a competition) they sent 4, thinking why would I need 4, turns out one snapped as I was trying to remove a fuse. They are good when the fcu is tight against a boiler, but I found the only way I could get one out once was to undo the 2 screws, let it drop forward and do it that way.

I've got a short, flat bladed, screwdriver which I heated up with a small blowtorch and then bent the tip at right angles in a vice.
Works a treat and had it for about 20+ years.
