Cable Ripper/Stripper tool

the thing I always find a PITA to strip is round flex. the way you have no idea where the conductors are makes it very easy to cut the inner insulation.

T&E is easy, just cut in the middle

I have a pair of
these, just score round the sheath, then bend the flex to detach it, quick as hell once you've got used to the pressure needed :)

Very usful tool indeed actually, will cut through 25mm² tails with ease, yet can still be used to strip the cores of 0.75mm²l lighting flex!

hey, me too..

no one else at work could use it, but i've been using them for 16 years now and can't get used to those "auto" cable strippers..

I have a pair of auto strippers, and would be lost without them.

Absoloutly invaluable for stripping multicore LSF YY cables :D

Pretty similar, but a not quite as flexible.

We tend to use 18 core for motor controls etc.
