Gap between upvc window frame & tiles - fill with what?

Hi,

Just had my bathroom finished and the tiler has left some gaps (5mm max) between the tiles around the window and the plastic window frame (white upvc & white grout).

He did not fill the gaps with grout for some reason.

Whats the best thing to fill this gap with?

More white grout? but this will not adhere to the plastic frame - is this important?

White silicone sealer? but this will go mouldy over time.

just looked, ours has grout

mine has grout around it as well maybe he forgot to do it,see any other reason why he didnt do it
